What is the difference between editing a bottle of wine and editing the purchase details of a wine?

When you edit a bottle, you are changing the information stored for all purchase records of that particular wine. For example, the rating, recommended maturity, or vintage.

When you edit purchase details, you are changing the information about a specific purchase record for that wine. For example, the quantity, price, and date and location of purchase.
